Texanna Edwards, pictured in her show stopping dress paired with flip flops, apparently knows how to make an entrance.
Edwards is a senior at Gibson County High School in Dyer, Tenn., and when she arrived to prom with a dress featuring a pattern of the Confederate flag, school officials promptly turned Edwards away.

School officials advised Texanna that she could return if she changed her dress but she refused, and says she’s at a loss as to why her dress was considered “offensive and inappropriate.” But contrary to her story, School officials say she had been warned about two months ago that the dress might not be acceptable.
