A church administrator at Hayes Barton Baptist Church is facing charges of embezzlement.
Robert Lahr, 49, of Knightdale, is accused of embezzling $136,324.58 from his employer, Hayes Barton Baptist Church, according to the Raleigh police department.
Lahr’s arrest warrant shows that the church worker faces charges for allegedly using the company credit card for personal purchases, manipulating his payroll, and making unauthorized transfers from church accounts.
