It’s the time for giving and for many people that means more spending. According to USA Today, credit card usage on Black Friday rose 7.4 percent from last year. Retailers say they are seeing more plastic, but shoppers say they try not to use credit, especially during the holidays. They say they worry about high interest rates and running up their credit.
Many stores are offering free shipping for all purchases online, so they say credit card usage is increasing there.
