Saturday July 16, 2011 The Light 103.9 in partnership with CAARE Inc. in Durham held A Day of Community Service.
The day featured health screenings by Doctors and Dentist along with screenings for high blood pressure, cholesterol, HIV/AIDS and glucose.
There was a free concert with Music One recording artist Jeff Majors.
The day also included free hair cuts for men, free clothing, vendors, and a kid zone with inflatable rides cotton candy, pop corn and snow cones.
The attendees were able to work out with a Zumba, Yoga and African dance demonstration.
