Praise and Worship leader, William McDowell’s ever popular song “I Give Myself Away,” has reached new heights this week. The song climbed to the top, entering at Number 1 on the BDS and Mediabase radio charts.
The hit single off of McDowell’s successful 2-CD AS WE WORSHIP: LIVE has not only touched people around the world, but has become a global movement.
“I Give Myself Away,” is among the most popular songs of the year; congregations and churches around the world have embraced the unforgettable song that speaks to relinquishing everything to God and to be used as a vessel for Him.
To that end McDowell has made it the driving force for his ministry. He recently launched the IGiveMyselfAway.org website which will be a one-stop shop for charitable giving and community service.
The site is aimed at promoting selfless love and giving. IGiveMyselfAway.org will become a destination portal that will provide information on local, regional and national charities. Demonstrating the scripture, James 2:17 ‘Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead …’ McDowell hopes to encourage a movement of selfless love and national service, by providing accessible information for a variety of charities, services and companies. IGiveMyselfAway.org will list contact information, mission statements, directives, volunteer opportunities, donation sites and more.
