A Wake County man is in jail this morning accused of assault with an ink pen.

Ronald Stacey Rhodes, of 1300 Farm Road, Lot 3, Raleigh, was arrested today and charged with one count of assault inflicting serious injury, according to an arrest warrant filed with the Wake County Magistrate’s Office.

Authorities said Rhodes, 23, struck Francisco Bello-Avalos in the head and arm with an ink pen on Tuesday, inflicting “puncture wounds on the top of his head, right side of his head and his left arm.”
