The Wake County school board could vote today whether to convert four year-round schools to traditional-calendar schedules, beginning as early as the 2010-2011 school year. The school system on Monday identified three schools where parents indicated in a survey earlier this year that they do not prefer year-round schools. The school system received nearly 40,000 responses to an online survey gauging the attitudes toward the year-round calendar.
