This month, we are proud to honor Rev. Dr. Della J. Owens, the pastor of St. James Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Wilson! Latoya A. of Wilson nominated Dr. Owens for this honor. Here’s what she had to say:
Pastor Owens is a wonderful woman of God, leader and preacher. She is very active in the community and fully supports the rights for the less fortunate. She loves helping others find opportunities to advance in all areas of their life. The way she lives her life shows how much she loves serving and God and his people. Her humbling spirit draws others to love her and the God in her. Thank you Pastor Owens for being all God created you to be!
