We have great news to share!
Radio One Raleigh proudly announces that last night (Oct. 9), The Light 103.9, The Triangle’s Inspiration Station, won the 2024 NAB Marconi Radio Award for “Religious Station of The Year!”
Established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the NAB Marconi Radio Awards are given to radio stations and outstanding on-air personalities to recognize excellence in radio.
Although we couldn’t make the ceremony, we were well-represented by our brother GRIFF from GET UP! Mornings, who accepted the award on our behalf. He was also on hand to receive an award for Erica Campbell, who made history with her win for “Network/Syndicated Personality of The Year.”

Finalists for the Marconi Radio Awards were selected by a committee of broadcasters, and the winners were voted on by the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Selection Academy.
