DOE Opens Up About Love, Life, and 'The Heart of a Human'

DOE has come a long way from her Forever Jones, “He Wants It All” days. Best known for her hit singles, “When I Pray” and “Brighter” off her debut album, Clarity, she’s back with her sophomore album, Heart of a Human, which was released over the summer.

Heart of a Human, which includes DOE’s lead single “Lead Us Again” and “So What” featuring Lecrae, captures the essence of love—God’s love, what it means to be loved, and what it means to share love. It comes at a time when love is at the forefront for the newly married singer and mom-to-be.

In her interview with Elev8 correspondent Jeff Lewis, DOE shares what inspired her new album, Heart of a Human, plus opens about life as a newly married woman and the heart of the little human growing inside of her. She also offers encouraging advice for those in need of a good word.
