Lots of sunshine today will produce high temperatures in the lower 90’s. Meterologist say temperatures will remain in the 90’s for tomorrow but a cold front will move in bringing strong to severe storms during the afternoon and evening hours.
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch from central North Carolina to the coast Friday morning until Sunday night. temperatures are expected to reach 105 by Saturday and Sunday and could break the record of 106 degrees.
