CNN reports that Trumps election is deepening the racial divide in the NFL locker rooms. Do you think this is this a small pattern of what will happen in the US?

Reactions about the presidential election drastically differ among players in the NFL, with a white offensive lineman saying, “One of the greatest days of my life,” while a black offensive lineman comments “Easily one of the worst days of my life,… “It’s like my dog died. Worse.”

Other white players comment on why Hillary lost: “Hillary Clinton was a terrible candidate,” …”That’s why she lost, not because of race.” Others say Trump won because of the increase in Obamacare premiums and Supreme Court appointments.

White players in support of Trump, were furious with the notion they or Trump supporters were racist, while the black players, on the other hand, said Trump’s election was mostly, if not all, about race.
