Living Word Family Church in Wake Forest will hold their 4th annual Free Yard Sale on Saturday, Saturday Feb. 27 from 10am-12.
Donations can be dropped off Friday, Feb. 26 from 6:30pm-9pm at Living Word Family Church and volunteers are encouraged to return on Saturday during the Yard Sale.
“Volunteers show up at 9am and actually are able to give their stuff away to the community so they can see where their blessings going,” Holt said.
Shoppers of the free yard sale are given $15 Living Word Bucks to spend at the sale. Every item, no matter how big or small costs one Living Word Buck.

Established in 1990, the Pauli Murray Award commemorates the life of the late Reverend Dr. Pauli Murray, a distinguished and remarkable person who confronted discrimination, racism and sexism in her life. The above honorees are being recognized for their displays of courage in upholding the ideals of social justice and equal opportunities. The program will take place at the Whitted Human Services Building (300 West Tryon, Hillsborough) and will include entertainment and a reception catered by 2003 Pauli Murray Award business winner, Kelsey’s Café. The 2015 Student Fair Housing Poster Contest winners will also be recognized during the ceremony. |
