On Monday Raleigh authorities charged a 23-year-old man in connection with recent break-ins at the News & Observer and a local church. Ethan Michael Mangum is charged with two counts of breaking and entering and two counts of damage to property in connection with both incidents at the N&O and a second incident at the First Presbyterian Church at 112 S. Salisbury St.
According to police Crime Stoppers received tips as a result of media coverage and the release of a surveillance photo. No other information was released.
