Zie’l (pronounced Zy-el)”Achieving Goals is meaning of German origin. The ladies added through Christ. This gifted group of young ladies has been commissioned to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to people of all ages and walks of life through their exceptional gift of singing. They were all born and raised in the Bright Star BC, Shreveport, LA and have been singing together all their lives. The group started with five members originally and has since changed to three. The dynamic trio consisting of Stellar Nominated Keyondra Lockett, Christina Bell and Crystal Bell, have made names for themselves with tight harmonies, vocal agility and a powerful ministry. The Mega talented female group served as one of the more notable girl group’s to emerge since the Clark Sisters. Enjoying hits such as “Is My Living In Vain” and “Surely He’s Able”, the ladies are no strangers to the stage as noted in their epic performances on national stages, TV and magazines, which includes platforms such as The Stellar Awards in Nashville, TN, The Bobby Jones Gospel Show, TV One, The Word Network and Jet Magazine to name a few. Zie’l released to radio the first single since their comeback, “Redeemed” written and produced by Jamiene “J-Skills” Thompson(Coko, George Huff) via their own label Bella Dawn Music,LLC in May 2013. In Oct 2013 Zie’l came back with more music via their label, cover of Donnie Hathaways “This Christmas”. Recently, Zie’l has signed a music contract with Dream Records/Capitol Christian and released their sophomore album “Zie’l, Pronounced Zy-el”, September 2, 2014. Their newest single, State of Emergency led the way from their sophomore album, and reached top 15 at radio on Billboard Gospel chart.
