The State Board of Education voted in October to begin a 10 point grading scale. This scale would make it easier for students to make higher grades.
The Board now has to vote when it will actually start and with whom it will begin. This vote would hopefully set the new scale in motion beginning this fall and whether it would be for all high school students and not just the incoming freshmen.
