Right now gas prices are looking pretty good going into the summer.  AAA reports the national average for regular gasoline at about $3.65, and at some of the gas stations  in and around Raleigh and Durham have it for less than the national average.

This is great news going into the Memorial holiday and into the summer.  Analysist say its a matter of supply and demand; we are driving less because of high prices and more people are purchasing fuel-efffecient vehicles.

However, they say don’t get used to the low prices because as the summer month come, more people take to the roads and the prices will typically rise due to demand.
