Meteoroligist says things will start with rain that will begin around lunchtime on Tuesday.
A storm which will bring some snow to North Carolina is scheduled for Wednesday.
The best chance of snow would likely be along the northern parts of North Carolina, but has the potential to push further south as the day progresses.
