Fort Bragg’s 27th Engineer Battalion is back home with family. The 350 members returned Monday night after serving a year supporting operation enduring freedom.
They partnered with the Afghan National Army and security forces to enhance security for both coalition forces and the local population.
Soldiers from the 27th say it feels good to be home just in time for the holidays.
