Lightening of Wake Forest. Welcome Santa to Historic Downtown Wake Forest with the annual Lighting of Wake Forest. Mayor Vivian Jones will light the official town Christmas tree and local community groups will perform carols. Get your picture taken with Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and family activities throughout downtown. 6 pm to 8 pm Town Hall Plaza. 401 South Brooks Street
