A 78-year-old White man was arrested and charged with assaulting a black student at a Donald Trump rally in Fayetteville, NC

A man who attended Donald Trump’s rally in North Carolina was arrested and charged Thursday with after multiple videos posted online appear to show him punching a protester in the face and later saying, “The next time we see him, we might have to kill him.”

John McGraw, 78, punched a Black Lives Matter protester in the face during the rally.  McGraw was later questioned and arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct and communicating threats after video images of the punch went viral.  McGraw was later recorded saying. “The next time we see him, we might have to kill him.”

Many are questioning the actions of the Police department who did not immediately secure McGraw after the assault.
