Last night was a glamorous celebration of awesome talent among all in the entertainment world with the NAACP Image Awards.

The Image Awards was hosted by actor Anthony Anderson from the show “Black-ish.”   Anderson kicked of the show by invoking N.W.A. for a rap about the lack of racial diversity at other awards shows.

“Listen, y’all, I don’t mean to sound cocky, but the movie’s called ‘Creed,’ not ‘Rocky,’ ” he rapped.

On a serious note Anderson says, “I love seeing all these faces; black people working,” he added. “Everybody keeps saying it’s a comeback. But hell, don’t call it a comeback. We’ve been here for years. This is about us. This is our show and it’s not a comeback. We have been here an we aren’t going anywhere.”
