This past month, 7 youth in the historic community of OberlinVillage participated in the construction of an interpretive signage project at the landmark site of Latta House & University. The youth ages 12-17 have been chosen based on their leadership skills, work ethic and character. They worked alongside professionals from Brodie Contractors Inc., Turner Masonry co. and Phoenix & Associates. The sign will be erected at the front of the 2 acre site at the base of the driveway. It will consist of a bronze sign housed by original handmade bricks that were salvaged from fire that consumed the house back in 2007.Now its time for our big reveal. So join us for an evening of live Jazz featuring Voronina McKinney & Ron Baxter Jazz. Bring your lawn chairs to this outdoor event. Please, no alcohol or pets. |

This is a free workshop for parents and students on how to navigate the college application and financial aid process. Time management, study skills, NCAA eligibility, credit card debt and a panel discussion led by current college students will also be included in the workshop.
