The state and defense have both rested in the capitol murder trial for Mario McNeill. McNeill is charged with kidnapping, raping, and killing 5-year-old Shaniya Davis in November 2009. Jurors in the case will have a few days before hearing closing arguments and beginning deliberations on Tuesday. Defense attorneys did not present any evidence or call any witnesses to the stand, and Mario McNeill decided that he will not testify.
