The registration of more than a dozen Wake County voters will be under scrutiny Tuesday. The board of elections is holding a hearing after challenges that many on the voting rolls are either not citizens or the person registered is dead.

With the November election less than three months away one organization in North Carolina is making sure every vote is properly accounted for. That group is called the Voter Integrity Project of NC and Tuesday they’ll be keeping a close watch on the hearing and the registrations in question.

The hearing will take place Tuesday morning at the Wake County Public Safety Center.
