NCCU Marching Band Student Lands Role In New Drumline Movie

North Carolina Central University SoundMachine Marching Band percussionist Marcus Joyner has won a part in the sequel to the 2002 motion picture, “Drumline.” Joyner won the part after auditioning in Atlanta, GA. “Drumline: A New Beat” is being produced by VH1 in partnership with Fox Television Studios and is set to premiere later on this fall.
