Former ESPN anchor Stuart Scott passed away last Sunday and will be remembered in Raleigh, NC, where his family still resides.
Private viewing will be held from 4-8pm on Friday at Providence Baptist Church on Glenwood Ave. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11am at the same venue.
There are many family members and colleagues that are visiting to pay their respects. Today I got a chance to talk to one of my good friends Jay Harris, who is currently an ESPN news anchor and in town for the “home going” events, about what Stuart Scott meant to him and ESPN sports.
