According to WRAL News, two men have been charged by officials with the Fayetteville Police Department for taking advantage of Hurricane Matthew victims needing home repairs.  The suspects have been identified as 55 year old David Alan Andrews and 41 year old Christopher Paul Beard.

During the time that the offenses were committed, Andrews was the owner of a local construction business. Andrews was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses and failure to work after being paid.

Beard was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses and failure to work after being paid as well. He was released on bond but is wanted by police again for a probation violation.
