City officials report that a water main break has forced three southbound lanes of Capital Boulevard just north of Interstate 440 near the Brentwood Road intersection to be closed. Traffic in that location now has major back ups.
Officials are at the site working to find out what caused the pipe failure. The break caused water to spill into the roadway shortly after the lunch hour Wednesday. All vehicles are encouraged to avoid the area.
