Raleigh Police Chief’s son David Louis Brown II is facing a felony charge for possessing a stolen vehicle. Brown was arrested yesterday on Capital Boulevard and Wake Forest Rd.
Personally knowing Chief Deck-Brown, I know she is in prayer for her son and the situation and we are in prayer with her.
Police Chief Deck-Brown released a public statement following that arrest that said in part:
“I am concerned and disappointed that my adult child made choices that caused him to be charged. On a personal level, I will support him and the efforts he makes to achieve positive change. While this is embarrassing for him and for me, it does not alter the love we have for one another. At the same time, I will maintain the confidence I have in the justice system and will let the legal process run its course.”
