Law enforcement agencies around the state are kicking off their “Click It or Ticket” campaign in NC which began in 1993.

Troopers say that approximately 415 people lost their lives in crashes because they weren’t buckled up.

Troopers will be looking for drivers and passengers that are not buckled up even harder over the holiday weekend.  A citation could cost you $179 combined with court cost.

Click It or Ticket is happening in all 100 counties across North Carolina.
