Bankole Akinbinu
Pastor Akinbinu is a true reflection of John 4:24, “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” He is a model of what worship looks like to the Father and an active part of the worship experience. His lifestyle of worship and kingdom building has led the flock to true service to the kingdom and the community. His vision for Baptist Grove Church has ushered in a move of God that has begun to infiltrate beyond the four walls of the church. He is intentional about making others feel a part by having the opportunity to become disciples often soliciting the congregation’s participation in the invitation to discipleship. He has exemplified the heart of the Father, grooming God’s disciples to be worshippers and evangelists that will lead God’s people to the foot of the cross. I admire his visionary leadership. He has been my pastor for 6 months and has impacted my spiritual development. For a Pastor to see something in you and help cultivate your gift so that you are performing at your best is to be recognized. He is a family man, humble leader and cares about God’s people. He takes time at the end of each service to greet the people as they exit the sanctuary, gives of himself unselfishly and is accessible and approachable as Jesus was. He finds time to minister to the people of God in and outside of the church. His ministry is one of inclusivity. God has done a quick work within the last 4 years through his leadership that will forever leave a mark on the heart of God’s people. I’m confident that God is well pleased with the ministry of Bankole Akinbinu.
