38-year-old Keith Bradley was on the run for a few hours last night after he escaped the Wake Correctional Center on Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh using a mop handle and bucket

Bradley was assigned to work as a night janitor at the prison and used a mop bucket and mop handle to go over a fence and escape just after midnight Thursday.

He was captured around 2:30 a.m. at an apartment in Raleigh. Bradley was serving a sentence of about 2 years for possession of a firearm by a felon and several drug related convictions.
