Kroger is promoting healthy eating by offering kids 12 and under a piece of free fruit when they shop with a parent.
Their press release says the initiative, “Free Fruit for Kids,” will take place in every Kroger in the Triangle. There will be a basket stocked with fresh fruit such as bananas, apples and clementines at each store.
