The severe weather that meteorologist are forecasting for us today claimed 3 lives in Louisiana and Mississippi yesterday with severe thunderstorms, waterspouts and tornadoes.
ABC11 Meteorologist Don “Big Weather” Schwenneker says the highest threat for severe weather will be this afternoon into early this evening.
“We will see a significant push of warm air with temps jumping 15-20 degrees in spots by lunchtime,” he said. “With that push of warm air, thunderstorms start to fire. We will already have strong winds in place.”
