Raleigh Police said an on duty taxi driver was shot to death at an apartment complex Monday morning.
The shooting took place at Hodges Creek Apartments in the 2000 block of Hodge Creek Drive at approximately 1:25 a.m. When police arrived at the scene after responding to a call, officers found a man identified as Jose Nicolas Dominguez of Raleigh dead.
Dominguez was 55 years old and drove for Amigo Taxi.
