Las Vegas police said authorities received a call shortly before 10:30 a.m. Saturday of allegation of battery against R&B singer Chris Brown. The alleged battery took place at the Palms Casino Resort. Saturday evening a police statement said the victim went to take a picture of Brown and an altercation took place.
According to the police the victim said Brown struck her and that he had took her cellphone. Police officials said Brown left his hotel room before they arrived and had a chance to speak to him.
Police say that Brown is listed as a suspect and a crime report has been taken for misdemeanor theft and misdemeanor battery listing.
Brown was in Las Vegas and performed Friday at Drai’s nightclub at The Cromwell Las Vegas, where he performs regularly.
