On Monday Kobe Bryant’s farewell tour headed to the East Coast for his final game in Charlotte, where the Los Angeles Lakers star received a special message from his idol, Michael Jordan.
The Hornets owner and NBA legend recorded a video addressed to Bryant that flashed across the Jumbotron before tipoff at Time Warner Cable Arena. Jordan compared Bryant to a little brother, congratulated the five-time NBA champion on his career and noted he is looking forward to seeing what Bryant will do next.
Bryant, whose admiration for Jordan has been well documented, watched the message from the Lakers bench.
