Durham and NCCU police are searching for the shooter and others involved in a shooting on campus just after 11pm last night leaving one student injured. Officials indicated that the shooting happened off Lawson St. near Alston Ave.
The campus went on lockdown shortly before midnight because of the shooting.
The student that was injured was taken to the hospital and received non-life threatening injuries.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the shooting to please call NCCU Police Department at (919) 530-6106.
