A registered sex offender was arrested at the NC State Fair yesterday after Wake County Sherriff’s discovered him posing as a ride inspector in the kiddie ride area.
Officers questioned 64 yr old Tyrone Szabo, and after running a check on him, found that he is on the NC Sex Offender Registry. Szabo was arrested and taken into custody for impersonating an inspector and being on premises where children are present.
Szabo was convicted of six counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor in Granville County in 2006.
