Are the teenagers in your life in a healthy dating relationship? How would you know? Would you be able to recognize the signs? Would you have the resources to provide your teen with support? Dating related abuse is rapidly increasing and 1 in 3 teens have experience dating violence, yet 75% of parents do not talk to their children about healthy relationships and warning signs of unhealthy relationships. Teenagers are in better positions to make healthy relationship choices when they are aware and educated on the early warning signs, and parents are better equipped when they are able to identify potential abusive relationships. In recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Breathe Life Sister Circle Presents “He Loves Me…He Loves Me Not” a open discussion for MOTHER’S & TEENS Girls to participate and learn about Teen Dating Violence, the Warning Signs, 11 Parental Tips, Dating Safety, Prevention, and available resources for teen victims of abuse. This month we are welcoming teen girls and women. If you have any teen girls in your family, or in your life we encourage you to bring them out to this powerful community session. We have the pleasure of having a few teen girls share their personal stories and a mother who battled with what to do and how to get her daughter help.
