The search continued for authorities Wednesday evening for 20-year-old Isabel Calvo Palacios who was reported missing Tuesday. According to officials Palacios was last seen by friends Friday afternoon at 4710 Ward Blvd.
Palacios’ aunt, Gloria Cortez said on Monday she was contacted by one of her friends through Facebook and began to be concerned for the safety of her niece. Cortez said “She asked me if she was OK because she had heard Isabel was hurt.”
Alarmed by the message family members said they began to contact hospitals, but they were not able to locate her. Dominga Palacios, the mother of the missing young lady said she just wants to know if her daughter is OK.
Palacios is described as being around 5 feet, 2 inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes. According to friends and family Palacios often carries a black purse with a black bow. The search is ongoing, and detectives are continuing to investigate the Ward Boulevard location for additional information.
