Another African-American church in South Carolina caught fire again Tuesday night.  Officials said that it was too soon to say whether the fire was caused by a person or if it was a result of the multiple storms that hit the area.

No one was believed to be inside at the time.  The fire at the Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal church in Greeleyville is 50 miles north of Charleston, where a pastor and eight members of another historical black church were fatally shot on June 17.

The fire also broke out at a time when federal authorities are investigating other fires at several other predominantly black churches.  However so far authorities haven’t found evidence to suggest the fires are related.  All of the fires that are under investigation broke out within days of the fatal shooting in Charleston.

This is not the first time that Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal church was burned down. In 1995 the same church was burned down by the Ku Klux Klan.  He said investigators will be on the scene first thing Wednesday morning.
