President Barack Obama has earned the moniker “Compromiser-in-chief” because, well, he loves to find a happy medium in all matters of debate, whether it’s budget battles, trade bargains, or major policy shifts.

But he is uncompromising when it comes hecklers interrupting his speech at his house, you know, the White House, especially while eating his food and drinking his booze.

So in his cool and collected fashion, the president shut down a heckler protesting the detention and deportation of gay, lesbian, and transgender immigrants at an event honoring LGBT Pride Month in the East Room.

“Hold on a second,” Obama said, wagging a finger and shaking his head. “OK, you know what? Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. No, no, no, no.

“Hey, listen,” he continued. “You’re in my house. You know what? It’s not respectful. You’re not going to get a good response from me by interrupting me like this. I’m sorry. I’m sorry … Shame on you, you shouldn’t be doing this.”

The president then had the heckler removed from the event.

“As a general rule, I am just fine with a few hecklers but not when I am up in the house,” he said. “If you are eating the hors d’oeuvres, know what I’m sayin’? And drinking the booze.”
