If your morning commute included a ride down Miami Blvd. in Durham then you may have noticed a major roadblock this morning.
Miami Boulevard between NC 98 and US 70 was closed starting this morning and will be closed for the next 6 weeks as part of the East Connector project, which links Hwy 70 and Hwy 147 in Durham. So those commuters will want to get familiar with an alternate route.
The detour signs will reroute drivers along Miami Blvd on either side of the Railroad crossings.
