The Carolina Mudcats, a Class-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves was involved in a crash early Tuesday morning. The accident happened around 3:45 a.m. on Clarendon Chadbourn Road. According to WECT seven players and one trainer, were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
No further information in regards to what caused the accident has been released. The Mudcats were returning from Salem, V.A. where they defeated the Red Soxs 3-1 at LewisGale Field.
