The Fayetteville Observer has enlightened us about a new report from the U.S. Army Environmental Command that predicts that Ft. Bragg could lose and estimated 16,000 military and civilian jobs in the next 6 years, because of shrinking defense budgets.

This is a worse case scenario but because Fayetteville’s economy is pretty much centered around the military, some are concerned that this may develop into a recession for Fayetteville.
