On Dec. 20 UNC announce that it would not reinstate PJ Hairston after his numerous off-the-court issues, including marijuana charge, being stopped with a gun in the car, and driving car rented by a convicted felon.
Since then Hairston withdrew from UNC as a full time student but has been keeping his head up. According to WRAL Hairston will head to the NBA Developmental League, to continue to pursue his basketball dreams. Hairston also said that he has enrolled in online courses at UNC to continue his education at get his Communications degree.
