The goal of Turkeys for DURM is simple: to raise money to donate 100 turkeys this Thanksgiving that will go to families here in DURM.
Between now and November 19th, donations will be collected with 100% of the proceeds to go towards purchasing frozen turkeys. On Friday, November 22nd, community members and volunteers will use collected funds to purchase turkeys and then deliver the turkeys to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, an organization that already performs the task of providing meals to families all year long here in Durham and throughout the region.
