Authorities are investigating a fatal wreck in Tennessee involving a church bus from Statesville. The bus from Front Street Baptist Church was carrying a group of seniors on Interstate-40 in Jefferson County on Wednesday. At least eight people were killed, included six people on the bus, and 14 people were injured. The group was on its way back to the church after spending the weekend in Tennessee attending a fall festival. The bus was traveling on Interstate-40 in Jefferson County when a tire blew out and it crossed into oncoming traffic.
